Now that you are thinking about strawberries after my last post, go bake a strawberry cake! It's good and it's easy!
Strawberry Cake
1 box of white cake mix or your own white cake recipe
1 1/2 pkgs frozen strawberries, thawed
4 eggs
1 - 30 oz box strawberry Jello
1 cup Wesson oil
Sift cake mix and jello mix together, blend in oil, adding eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Add thawed strawberries and mix well. Pour into a greased cake pan. May be baked in layer pans or a rectangular pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cake cool for a few minutes, then pour icing over the top.
Icing
1/2 pkg strawberries, thawed
1 box powdered sugar
1 small bar cream cheese, softened (if desired)
1/2 stick butter, melted
Sift powdered sugar, add softened cream cheese (if cream cheese us desired), melted butter and strawberries. Mix well. Spread on warm cake, cut and enjoy.
Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Rita,
I'm comin' over to your house for dessert! LOL! I love strawberry cake and have not made it in quite a while. This recipe sounds delish! Enjoy your cake and have a great week!
Yummy...I'm on my way..))smiles))
Rita,
Debi posted about stuff you can put in the matchbox on the Bloggerette blog. It's great 'cause she has pics! LOL! But any small thing works. When they pair you up they give you a list of things and colors your partner likes so you work with that but things like charms, buttons, ribbon, dollhouse miniatures, earrings or a pin. You know...stuff! LOL! Do try to join in! I think it will be fun!
Yum! Are you going to make this when you come for a visit?? Hint, hint.
Yummy!
Blessings,
andrea
