I've learned...
that life is like a roll of toilet paper,
the closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes!
And boy, is this true. I was just getting married
a couple of days ago and now we've lived a lifetime together!

I've learned...
that money doesn't buy class!
That's one thing you earn
by the way you live.
No matter how much you want it,
if you don't live it, you wont have it!
That's one thing you earn

No matter how much you want it,
if you don't live it, you wont have it!
I've learned...
that under someone's hard shell is a person
who wants to be appreciated!
We should tell others how much we appreciate them.
It feels so good when someone tells us!
We should tell others how much we appreciate them.
It feels so good when someone tells us!
I've learned...
that we should be glad that the Lord
doesn't give us every thing we ask for!
Thankfully, He gives us the things we need
and not always the things we want.
Thankfully, He gives us the things we need
and not always the things we want.
I've learned...
that the Lord didn't do it all in one day
so why should we think we can?
I have to stop and think about this last one often
for I think I can do it all at times, and I try to.
But I have learned that if I do, it catches up with me.
But I have learned that if I do, it catches up with me.
We don't learn these things strickly from a book,
but from living life!
but from living life!
But the thing I have learned most is that
with God in my life, life is good.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
Rita

Amazing how much "common sense" we learn in a life time...Great post..!
These are so true, aren't they? I love one liners, it seems to be what my brain can grab ahold of and hang onto! :)

Oh wow, this is a beautiful post. I often need reminding on this one: the Lord didn't do it all in one day so why should we think we can?
Great post, Rita, and so true. I often wonder where my life has gone. I am in my fifties, but still feel like I'm in my twenties (without the kooky fashions, of course).
You really do have so much wisdom to share. I am so glad you are blogging and hence, recording it for us and for the future - for Sloane and for her children.
Rita,
Your words are priceless! Hope you are back to blogging soon!
